I really like this restaurant but the thing I don't like is that they add 20% gratuity on the bill. If I'm not mistaking servers are making minimum wage at this point which is $17. I always felt like tipping should be an option. Even though I like this restaurant I'm not sure if I would come again because of the automatic 20% gratuity. The food was excellent and so was our server and atmosphere of the restaurant. They also have outdoor seating and security at the front door. I forgot to add that the oysters On the Half-Shell were super tiny. This is a very good restaurant and I feel like they should have a better quality of oysters. The oysters were fresh and good but they were just small and I posted a video to show that.
A great place for happy hour and happy hour priced oysters! Went here for lunch and got a lot of oysters, which were delicious. The shrimp is a must along with the wings. The drinks are cheap and good. No doubt we will be back here for this amazing happy hour. Service was great and the place was lovely. Would recommend for a great happy hour or good oysters!
The food was exceptional. Everything was extremely fresh and well balanced. The bar area was awesome 👌🏾 The drinks were top notch and well priced. The only downside is parking 😤 definitely make sure to arrive early to find a decent place to park.
Man!!!! How GREAT was the food& service!! SUPER KUDDOS 2 JD our waiter. He took great care of us, the food was EVERYTHING. Atmosphere was bar shiek, no 5 ☆ decore but as great as this drinks& food were who cares! DEFINITELY GOING BACK!
Was told this was a cute spot with an oyster happy hour, so I decided to check it out!
Cute and "quaint" is how I would describe it... but the best part is...OUTDOOR SEATING....
Aside from a bee literally trying to have lunch with me, I enjoyed the outdoor dining and oysters... the service was slow, but I was in good company, so it wasn't so horrible...
The oysters were a decent size and very fresh.
The spinach dip6 was creamy and chunky (lots of spinach)
The crabcake sliders were lovely, just the right size...
It was a very nice happy hour!!!
HOWEVER.... Its good for them (bad for me) that I didn't have to use the restroom before I ate because... DISGUSTING!!!!! I would have definitely left based on the cleanliness or lack thereof.
The hallway is cute!, the restroom on the other end.... GROSSSSSSSS..... like i didn't even use it. I just had to have visual proof that this was what the restroom looked like... tighten up, please....
BUTTTTTTT again, the food was great...
so if u live around or are visiting, hey, have a stop in...
I recently had the pleasure of visiting King Street Oysters for their happy hour on Cinco De Mayo, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, and the service was impeccable.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food and drinks. The margaritas were some of the best I've ever had - perfectly mixed and refreshing. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, and the salmon sliders were delectable. The tuna tacos were a particular standout, with a burst of flavor in every bite. The fries were also perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the lobster mac and cheese was a decadent and indulgent treat.
Of course, the oysters and jumbo shrimp were the stars of the show. They were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared.
The total bill for all this deliciousness came out to $211.86 after a 20% tip - a fair price for the quality and quantity of food and drinks we received. I would highly recommend King Street Oysters to anyone looking for a great happy hour spot with amazing food and drinks.
Really enjoyed my experience here. Came for happy hour to celebrate my cousin. They have a great happy hour special with plenty of food and alcohol options. The place is huge with plenty of seating options both inside and outside and they seem to be pretty packed for this great happy hour. Very vibrant atmosphere with tons of people and good energy.
I tried the wings, spinach dip and the crab cake sliders. The sliders were great! Will definitely be back for more. The drinks were good and strong. Really enjoyed our server who did a great job of managing our pretty big table with a lot of orders.
I will definitely come back to try out other things on the menu and add this as an option for a fun outing with friends. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely delicious! For an appetizer, we had the crab artichoke dip. The portion size is made for one person though. So if you want Dip for the whole table, order 2 or 3 of them. I had the seafood pasta, my husband had the jambalaya, my son had the lobster roll (hot) with fries, and my daughter had the kids salmon with a side of macaroni and cheese. Omgee! This food was so good! The salmon was amazing! This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in a while. Parking is a challenge though. Just be sure to look for tow zone signs. Also, they charge an automatic 20% gratuity for an party size.
